The weekend concludes with an intentional recommitment and reflection experience.

Learn structured dialogue tools that help each partner speak openly and feel heard without immediately moving into argument, correction, or defensiveness.
Practice approaching differences with greater openness, acceptance, empathy, and respect.
Explore attachment, defensive styles, early developmental experiences, and how these can influence attraction, conflict, and emotional connection.
Understand why some of the differences that initially attract us can later become sources of frustration—and how to respond differently.
Explore appreciation, desirable behaviors, love languages, and practical ways to intentionally bring warmth and enjoyment back into the relationship.
Develop a Mutual Relationship Vision that helps clarify the values, experiences, and direction you want to create together.

Rekindle the Flame combines group teaching with private exercises between you and your partner. You are not expected to disclose the intimate details of your relationship to the group.
At times, volunteer couples may demonstrate a structured dialogue with Anaka's guidance. Couples may choose a real issue or a made-up example for the purpose of learning the process.
The small-group format allows you to learn alongside other couples while keeping the most personal relationship work between you and your partner.

Rekindle the Flame is grounded in Imago Relationship Therapy, an approach that helps couples understand the deeper patterns influencing attraction, conflict, emotional reactions, and connection.
Rather than treating differences as evidence that something is wrong with the relationship, Imago invites couples to become curious about what those differences represent and how each partner's experiences influence the way they respond to one another.
Throughout the weekend, Anaka teaches structured dialogue practices that help couples slow conversations down, listen more carefully, communicate differences with greater emotional safety, and respond with more curiosity and understanding.

Rekindle gives couples a shared foundation of concepts, language, and communication tools.
For couples who want to continue the work, private sessions with Anaka can build on what you have already learned and focus more deeply on the patterns and experiences unique to your relationship.
